Crop Circles, Mandalas, Shaman

This morning, thanks to an email from a friend, I checked out Lucy Pringle's website on crop circles.  http://www.lucypringle.co.uk/photos/2007/jun.shtml

I was blown away by the different images and the sacred geometry.  Whether you believe the crop circles are mystically created or not, it is enlightening to check out Lucy's amazing site filled with articles, beautiful pictures of the crop circles, and all sorts of items.

Some of you will pick up a feeling from the various pictures.  The crop circle pictures become a mandala.  Wikipedia describes a mandala as a Hindu in origin word.  "In practice, mandala has become a generic term for any plan, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically, a microcosm of the universe from the human perspective." - From Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandala

The crop circles, then, are a cosmic message that clicks with that piece of the cosmos in us.  We may not understand it, but we certainly feel it.  The feeling and not understanding flicks me back to one night in Sedona under the evening sky with a guide and Shaman practicing the Hopi ways.  He talked about a very old tree, off on its own away from the other trees, and very twisted by the power of the vortex.  He talked about all the people that have come on the tour and how most of them see the tree and respond to the power of the tree by either going up to it and hugging it, or talking to it.  We don't know why we do it - we just recognize something in that tree that resonates in us.  And, we want to be part of it.

As we journey, watch for the cosmic messages.  Honor them and feel where they vibrate in your body. Is it in a chakra?  If so can you catch a glimpse of what is going on?  Do you feel it in your limbs, your head, or somewhere in the trunk of your body.  We feel because we are not seperate from everything... we are a part of everything.

I wish you many blessings,
Judy
