Author Madeleine L’Engle Will Be Missed

I was quite sad to learn that Madeleine L'Engle passed away today.  She wrote one of my favorite fantasy books called "A Wrinkle In Time".   This book, by the way, is listed in the top 100 fantasy books of all time at Top 100 Fantasy Books.

I love social commentary and while "Wrinkle" is a good read simply for the story, the comments on the interactions between the family and their neighbours, as well as the comments on the politics, are simply fascinating!  Imagine a world where we are all to act alike.  How boring! 

Thanks Madeleine, for all the reading joy that you have brought to the world.  Happy story telling in the hereafter!
